It’s time for my first monthly roundup! Cannot believe we’re already in April. Wasn’t it just New Year’s? Now the first quarter of the year is officially over. I swear this year is flying by and I’m not happy about it! I want time to slow down. This is our last year (probably) in California and I want to soak it all in.
Let’s jump right in to the good stuff why don’t we?
My first favorite is something you’ll be seeing on repeat all summer long. These sandals from Old Navy are really inexpensive but are so cute. They’ll go with everything and they don’t fall off my feet! I’ve already gotten a lot of wear out of them. They’re perfect with jeans, shorts, or skirts, They only come in whole sizes so if you’re a half size (like me) size up. I got these in a 9.
We also went to Utah this month, I wish I had been more intentional about taking pictures because it was GORGEOUS. One of the reasons we went was for the Persnickety Prints Grand Re-Opening and this shop, Mia & Mac was there. She makes the cutest jewelry! You know I had to pick up these Mickey earrings. I actually got them in rose gold (shown here) and the slightly bigger ones in gold but they’re currently in my ear so I don’t have a picture of them. She had lots of druzys too, which I’m all about the druzy!
Monat Detangler this stuff is the BOMB.COM. I have the most unruly hair, it’s thick, frizzy, and uncooperative. I spray this on after every single time I wash my hair and it makes brushing it out so easy. Trust me, I’ve tried a lot of detanglers growing up. My mom has even tried a few on me! I used to get so mad at her when she’d brush my hair because it hurt so badly, I wish this stuff existed back then because I sure needed it! P.S. This is definitely not just for kids as I currently use it all the time on myself but just thought I’d make that clear. It has a cute mammoth on the bottle too!
Next up is Spindrift, specifically, Raspberry Lime Spindrift. I get this at Trader Joe’s but a quick search on their website shows that it’s also sold at Whole Foods, Target, etc. Panera Bread also serves it as one of their drink options, which is how I discovered it in the first place. Guys. You need this in your life! I hate La Croix, sorry but I’m not a fan. Never have been. I can’t get enough of this Spindrift stuff and it’s just sparkling water and fruit, that’s it. Even says so on the box! Do yourself a favor and pick some up, you won’t regret it.
Sticking with this food theme, spaghetti squash was on heavy repeat this month. I wasn’t a big spaghetti squash fan the first time I tried it if I’m being completely honest. I thought the texture was weird and it lacked flavor. However, I figured out the secret! Dab a chunk of butter on top and use meat sauce. Seriously, that’s it. Even my marine husband approved it! I’m also a fan of zoodles but he’s not quite on board with that one yet…
This is random but I also have been loving this phone stand from Amazon. I like to watch Netflix or Instagram Stories while I’m doing the dishes or even at my desk while I’m working. This has been great! It holds my iPad or my phone and I can even feed my charger cord through it so I can charge and watch at the same time. Such a simple device but what a game changer. I’ll even take it upstairs with me and watch videos while I’m getting ready in the morning. A little gem I found on Amazon (check out the rest of my current Amazon Favorites here).
That wraps up my favorites for the month of March! What were you loving? I love trying new things, send them my way.
‘Til next time.
